FDA approved to provide relief of pain, inflammation and muscle spasm, Class IV Medical Lasers have been a tremendous source of healing for patients in a variety of settings such as orthopedics, chiropractic, physical therapy, dentistry, and neurology for many years. Class IV medical lasers are not "cold lasers". Only certain health care professionals are allowed to operate these lasers and must be trained and pass a certification examination. Laser therapy stimulates the body's circulation to promote faster healing from injuries, surgeries (such as joint replacement), chronic inflammation (such as planter fasciitis, bursitis) and other chronic and acute pain syndromes such as sciatica, bulging/ herniated discs, neck and back pain.

Dr. Spina has found that laser therapy has provided a faster route of healing for patients: "I still use ultrasound and electrical muscle stimulation on patients if needed but I have found the laser to work much faster and more effectively, cutting total treatment time down significantly. Some patients find they can reduce their in-take of pain and/ or anti-inflammatory medications relatively quickly, which is exciting to see. Patient's must still do their part to perform needed exercises or modifications to their daily life and laser therapy can be a fantastic addition."
